The Office of Science Building Services, Science Center, organized an orientation programme for dormitory residents to strengthen understanding of residential regulations and promote safe and disciplined living in the dormitory environment. The programme featured a dialogue session titled “Dorm Life in the Gen Z Era”, providing a space for students to share perspectives on campus living. Additional sessions included a briefing on dormitory rules, the “Waste Detective” activity to encourage waste segregation, and the “Share Happiness” activity aimed at building positive relationships between staff and students in a warm and supportive community atmosphere.
2. Physical and Mental Well-being Promotion Activities for Dormitory Students, Science Center Residence
The Office of Science Building Services, Science Center, organized activities to promote the physical and mental well-being of dormitory residents, aiming to support life balance and strengthen overall health. The programme included exercise sessions, stress-relief activities, and health education talks, encouraging students to care for both their physical and emotional wellness. 3. “Sharing Garden at the Dormitory” Activity, Nakhon Nayok Education Center
The Nakhon Nayok Education Center organized the “Sharing Garden” activity as part of the project to enhance the professional competencies of Early Childhood Education students. Students collaboratively tended the vegetable plots within the dormitory area and harvested the produce to create “Sharing Baskets” for fellow dormitory residents, providing pesticide-free vegetables free of charge. The activity also encouraged students to learn natural plant-care methods, such as using wood vinegar to prevent insects. This initiative fosters values of self-reliance, responsible consumption, and community sharing within the dormitory environment.
4. Monitoring and Development of the Student Dormitory Lunch Programme
The Office of Special Affairs, in collaboration with the Nakhon Nayok Education Center, conducted monitoring and inspection visits for “Lunch Programme 1,” which oversees meal provision for dormitory students and the Suan Dusit Kitchen. The purpose was to ensure that students receive meals that are safe, nutritious, and of high quality. The team also assessed the readiness of affiliated dormitory facilities for first-year students in order to enhance the overall living standards and well-being of students in all aspects.
