Additionally, SDU has actively participated in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) program, administered by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) of Thailand. In fiscal year 2024, Suan Dusit University achieved a total ITA score of 96.14 points, ranking 8th nationwide among higher education institutions. The University earned full marks (100/100) in key categories such as Corruption Prevention, Information Disclosure, and Promotion of Integrity and Transparency, reflecting the University’s strong commitment to ethical conduct and zero tolerance toward corruption.

SDU’s anti-corruption principles are further reinforced through national-level partnerships. On 30 September 2024, Suan Dusit University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Strategic Cooperation on Anti-Corruption Movement with the Anti-Corruption Foundation and the Association of Anti-Corruption Journalists (Thailand). The signing ceremony, held at the Raktanith Auditorium, Suan Dusit University, was attended by representatives from 24 higher education institutions across the country. This collaboration represents a collective commitment by academia to foster an organizational culture of integrity and transparency, free from corruption and bribery.

At the academic level, the School of Law and Politics, Suan Dusit University, organized the project “Building a Culture of Anti-Corruption: No Gift Policy and the Transformation of Thailand’s Bureaucracy” on 23 May 2024. The project was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Patchim, Dean of the School of Law and Politics, and featured Lt. Dr. Jenrob Paladech, Director of the Office for the Promotion of Good Governance in the Public Sector, Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), as a keynote speaker. The workshop aimed to enhance understanding of anti-corruption practices, good governance, and the implementation of the “No Gift Policy” in the Thai public sector. It also encouraged students and staff to cultivate civic responsibility and awareness of ethical conduct in both public and professional life.

The No Gift Policy has been formally adopted and integrated into the University’s governance framework. SDU developed an annual anti-corruption action plan, conducted risk assessments on bribery and corruption, and publicly reported performance outcomes through official university websites to ensure transparency and accountability.
These collective actions demonstrate Suan Dusit University’s unwavering commitment to anti-corruption and anti-bribery principles, consistent with the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The University has successfully established a governance system that is transparent, verifiable, and ethically driven—while fostering a culture of honesty and integrity at every institutional level.
In conclusion, Suan Dusit University has exemplified leadership in promoting good governance in higher education through both policy and practice. The establishment of the Committee on Good Governance and Ethics, participation in the NACC ITA assessment, formal partnerships with anti-corruption organizations, and campus-wide implementation of the No Gift Policy all reaffirm the University’s vision to be an institution of integrity, transparency, and social responsibility, fully aligned with the spirit of SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
