Suan Dusit University (SDU) is committed to promoting educational equality, particularly by expanding opportunities for female students to enter fields where women are underrepresented — such as science, technology, engineering, and food innovation (STEM). This effort directly supports SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 4: Quality Education.
In 2024, SDU implemented the SDU TCAS 67 system and published the SDG–TCAS 67 Report, which revealed that female applicants accounted for 74.86%, compared to 25.14% male applicants. These outcomes reflect SDU’s strong commitment to increasing women’s participation in STEM through career guidance programs, targeted promotion of academic programs, and national-level collaborations with educational and government partners.
Together, these actions demonstrate SDU’s leadership in reducing the gender gap in higher education and inspiring more young women to pursue careers in science and technology.

University Outreach Program
SDU organized nationwide career and academic guidance activities with secondary schools to inspire young women to pursue STEM studies. Key events include the Higher Education Fair 2024 (Nov 27–28, 2024) and Career Talk 2024 (Feb 20, 2024), alongside STEM scholarship information on the SDU TCAS website.

Collaborative Campaigns
SDU partnered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) in the “SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND” fair to promote STEM careers for women.
